We invest in your home, you stay in control

Balance purchases a share of your home and joins you as a silent co-owner — providing cash today for a share of your home's appreciation. You remain an owner living in the home, all while staying in control.

Consolidate your debt to lower your payments

As part of the purchase, we pay off your current mortgage and other eligible liens. You'll make a monthly Exclusivity Cost payment that's structured for stability and predictability — and targets payments up to 30% lower than what you're paying today.

Rebuild your credit over
2–3 years

Get your finances back on track and improve your credit score. The program is designed to give you time to qualify for a traditional mortgage with a third-party lender. Many co-owners see their credit scores increase once high-interest debt is resolved.

No minimum term. You may repurchase Balance's share when you're ready to refinance into a traditional mortgage — or choose to sell the home and keep your share of the proceeds.

Balance buys a portion of your house – but you stay in your home

As part of the purchase, Balance buys a portion of your home, pays off your mortgage and becomes a co-owner. Balance shares in the costs of maintaining the property, as well as the benefits, including sharing future appreciation.You remain an owner living in your home – with the support you need to address debts and work toward full ownership again.

Pay off your
debts

Get up to $680k to pay off your mortgage and other debts. You’ll make a monthly payment to Balance that also includes your share of taxes, insurance and HOA fees based on your ownership percentage.

As a Co-Owner, Balance also pays its share of these expenses each month.

Rebuild your credit and go back to a traditional
mortgage

Get your finances back on track and improve your credit with the help of HUD-certified counseling, credit repair support, and incremental equity buyback tools.



With no minimum term, you have the flexibility to buy out Balance’s share when you’re ready with cash or through a traditional mortgage. Or you can choose to sell your home and receive your share of the proceeds.
